Okay, it’s official. Nick Sloaf Now S A L O N I T I E S requests your participation in writing in a vote for the November 2008 USA Presidential Election. Don’t expect a platform or any official propaganda to inform yourself of any platforms or policies. This campaign will become part of a documentary film exploring the legitimacy of an individual’s voting power in this country. The question the S A L O N I T I E S staff have pondered in coming up with this concept: Where is my vote?

We ask that you Vote Nick Sloaf Now S A L O N I T I E S for president and do so on camera and send it to us, or ask us to come film you doing so. After the votes get tallied officially, we will investigate how many write-in votes end up in the voting records. We will be able to consider more questions in the film: Does my vote count? Why would I vote for those considered ‘in the running’? What happens if I vote for someone who doesn’t want to run? Will I ever know if Mike Gravel is a paid accomplice of those on stage in the debates? Who is Nick? What is a sloaf?
